ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN
WHAT IS NESHEK
Inspired by the Lubavitcher Rebbe's vision of a world illuminated by the Shabbat and Yom Tov candles of every Jewish woman and girl, Neshek is a complete, ready-to-launch outreach campaign for Chabad Shluchim and anyone who wants to help spread the mitzvah of Shabbat and Yom Tov candle lighting.
Lighting Shabbat and Yom Tov candles is one of the most cherished mitzvos in Jewish life, bringing holiness, peace, and blessing into the home. It is our shared responsibility to ensure that every Jewish woman and girl has both the opportunity and the resources to fulfill this beautiful mitzvah.
At the heart of the campaign is a beautifully designed, fully customizable brochure explaining the meaning of the mitzvah, complete with step by step lighting instructions, the blessings in Hebrew and English, local candle lighting times, and a complete Jewish holiday candle lighting guide. Paired with elegant Neshek candlesticks and candles, it becomes a meaningful gift that recipients will treasure and use week after week.
